Location & Getting to us
Providing the perfect break, away from the hustle & bustle of the city centre our pub is tucked away on a residential street, within close proximity to the city centre and just a few minutes walk from London Road. Live the ‘pub life’ for a night or two, stay in one of Brighton’s oldest pubs.
We are a just a 4 minute taxi ride or 10 minute walk from the main Brighton station, 6 minute walk from London Road station. An 8 minute taxi journey to the city centre.
The rooms have been renovated to ensure our guests have a cosy stay. Optional breakfast is served in the pub, we are of course more than happy to give guidance on where to eat & drink locally.
Guest access & amenities
The entrance of the property is via the pub, your bedroom will be located on the first floor. During our open hours you will hear the noise from the pub, usually some vibey music, chatter, laughter and occasionally some barking dogs..
On arrival you will be greeted by either ourselves (Nick & Juliette) or one of our super lovely members of staff.
You will be able to check-in and come back down for a well deserved drink or some food or just get on with whatever your plans might be..
The rooms both feature a Super King sized bed with luxurious bedding. A Nespresso coffee machine with a selection of espresso pods, and a kettle for making tea.
A storage unit with hangers for you to hang your glad rags. Your private Toilet and Shower-room accessed via the hall immediately next door to your room, with towels, eco-friendly body wash, shampoo & conditioner provided.
We are local to Brighton so we are able to give you in-depth advice on the area during your stay or prior to arrival if required.
There is pay and display parking around the building and on the adjacent streets. Or a carpark on New England Street just a 3 minute walk. The neighbourhood is very eclectic as is the whole of Brighton
Although our little pub is a tucked away ‘backstreet boozer’, you will find yourself on the buzzing London Road within a few minutes walk, Brighton train station 5 minute walk, or in the City Centre within a 10 minute walk.
